The Tricot Slen is an innovative addition to the Babylonia range of award winning slings. Using Newlife fibre made from from recycled plastic bottles, this sling is not only cool and comfortable to wear, it is eco-friendly too!
Newlife is a completely unique, “high performance” fibre made from recycled plastic bottles. Moisture wicking, extremely light and breathable, the Newlife fibre helps keep you and your baby cool and dry while on the move.
Designed for comfort, the Tricot Slen wraps around you and your baby offering a perfect, supportive fit to both. Designed to encourage ergonomic baby wearing, the sling also enables you to carry your baby in the recommended ‘M’ position where the knees are higher than their hips, and the back is in the curved ‘C’ position to encourage healthy hip and spine development.
With several different carrying positions to choose from, including parent facing, hip carry and a discreet nursing position, the Tricott Slen Cool is suitable for use from birth right up to around 3 years old (15kgs approx.), giving you the opportunity to continue babywearing for as long as you and your baby want to.
As flexible as a woven sling, the Tricot Slen Sling weighs much less than other hybrid slings and features unique qualities which ensure that it has ample stretch in the width and diagonal line, but little stretch in the length. This ensures that the wrap does not sag (even after washing) and always offers good support to both you and your baby.
